very well put together and i look for expression and what the picture is trying to say and i enjoyed this calendar a great deal. a great overview of pictures and expressions that is truly captured very well here.
My one negitve complaint is the calender has two dates (and two pictures) on each sheet, as well as it uses one picture for a weekend. The calander's prints are reprsented by a wide selection of styles, time periods and geographic areas. So, if you were planning to use the prints later you may have fewer than a one page a day. This calander has a very nice selection of pictures, from private collections etc. Also, it has is very nice printing quality.
A series of art works, from ancient to relatively modern, one for each day of the year.Good reproductions, not too exciting as a gift.No room for writing entries, so cannot be used to note appointments, birthdays, etc.
This is my second year and I'll buy another page day of art for 2010. Great product. A great daily meditation. Nothing like a small but beautiful alternate view of reality sitting next to your computer every day.
Do not discard them. This is a great little calendar. I would have liked to see more modern art, but there is a large range of art represented. Very vivid pictures. Each day has its own art image. Something interesting is that the "cards" are double sided, so you go through half the year and then flip the cards over to go through the second half of the year.
